Theatre of the Wild

The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.

The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red Elephant, Rhino, buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Pods of Hippo, Crocodile, Waterbucks, lesser Kudu, Gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Lion Hill Lodge

Voi Wildlife Lodge

Nestled in the heart of elephant country, Voi Wildlife Lodge is located in the Savannah grasslands of Tsavo East, Kenya, just 5km off the main highway connecting the Capital Nairobi to Mombasa.

Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game including elephant, zebra, lion, cheetah and buffalo with a variety of birdlife.

The lodge is situated on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops, such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills.

Voi Safari Lodge

Strategically situated Safari Lodge, in one of the World’s Largest Game Park – the Tsavo National Park – Voi Safari Lodge stands high above the town of Voi overlooking a vast expanse of the African Bush. It is 160km from Mombasa City.

You can simply watch the herds of wild animals roam beneath you or you can get closer by a network of access roads reaching into many corners of this 11,666 square kilometers Park. From the Lodge, you can look out onto the three water holes and see the ever-changing Panorama of Africa unfold right before your eyes and at the same time enjoy the luxury of waiters’ service. There is a special ‘HIDE’ for the camera enthusiasts affording close-up and candid pictures of the wild animals which do not suspect any human presence.

Ashnil Aruba

Ashnil Aruba Lodge lies in the heart of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya. Its location is superb, just a couple of hours from the coast of Mombasa, 5 hours leisurely drive from Nairobi and is located on the banks of Aruba Dam which was built in 1952 as a sport fishing recreational point in the park. Several watering holes nearby attract wildlife and spotting animals is easy because the park lies flat with savannah grassland.

There are a total of 40 deluxe en-suite rooms with 8 having interconnecting doors. 4 triple rooms with one interconnecting room, 6 luxury tents and 2 rooms suited for disabled persons. The open sitting restaurant located in the main building, overlooks the dam at all angles and can sit a maximum of 150 guests. The wooden deck shaded by canvas umbrellas can be used as extra seating during meal times.

Manyatta Camp

Manyatta Camp borders Tsavo East Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills.

Manyatta camp offers a magnificent view of Tsavo National Park. All tents have breathtaking views of the park and the seasonal river.

Unique to the entire region each tent has been constructed with its own private plunge pool. The luxury tents are raised above the ground to give an uninterrupted view of the Savannah grasslands of the park.

Sentrim Tsavo East

Sentrim Tsavo East is located in Tsavo East National Park. The waterhole in front of the camp is visited by elephants, buffaloes and other game. So you can sit, have a drink and watch comfortably. The camp has the atmosphere of the pioneer camps of long ago while providing the luxury of a permanent camp with modern amenities.

It has a total of 25 en-suite rooms equipped with the following; Hot shower, Mosquito nets, Tea / Coffee making facilities.

There is one main restaurant where you enjoy various delicious cuisines. The meals are buffet or à la carte.
